Dan
has been officiating football since 1981. This year
he will be entering his ninth season as a member of the Big Ten
staff and his fourth as referee/crew chief. Dan worked the inaugural
International Bowl in Toronto, Canada in January, 2007 and was referee
on the New Orleans Bowl in December, 2007.
Dan is a partner in the Chicago
law firm of Capron & Avgerinos, P.C. He
and his wife, Mary Anne, have four daughters.
