- David Parry is the coordinator of football officials
for the Big Ten Conference and the national coordinator for
NCAA football officiating.
- He serves on the NCAA Football Rules Committee,
Editorial Sub-Committee, and Bowl Certification Sub-Committee,
and as coordinator of the Collegiate Commissioner's Association
football supervisors.
- An NFL official from 1975 to 1990, David worked
fourteen playoff games, four Conference Championships, and
Super Bowl XVII.
- He was an NCAA football and basketball official
for 20 years.
- The National Football Foundation and College Hall
of Fame awarded David its Outstanding Football Official Award
for contributions to the sport of college football.
- David was an honors graduate at Wabash College
and is a member of WC's Athletic Hall of Fame.
- He is a former teacher, coach, and athletic director
for Michigan City Area Schools.
- David and his wife, Patricia, have three daughters,
two sons, and eight grandchildren and reside in Michigan City
, Indiana.
