official for 38 years; college official since 1979. Referee in
the Missouri Valley Football
Conference since 1986. Has worked eleven I-AA (now FCS) playoff
games including the 1989 I-AA National Championship game in Statesboro
GA.
Inducted into the Central Officials Association Hall of Fame
in 2001; member of the COA Board of Directors 1981-84; Football
Committee member, 1979-97; Football Committee Co-Chair, 1984-89;
presenter at Mid-Continent Officials Clinic, 1985-92 and CFO
Clinic since 1993. President of the Gateway Football Officials
Association, 1988-91.
B.S. from Chicago State University , 1970; M.S. from Northern
Illinois University , 1974. Retired educator of 34 years; currently
employed as the Superintendent of Parks & Recreation for the Village
of Willowbrook . Married to Joan; 2 daughters; 1 granddaughter.
